Fair of Lille 2014: 2.5 million bargain hunters expected this weekend



Who says the first weekend in September said Lille flea market. An expected event every year by many French and also outside the borders to do business in this enormous flea market in Europe. Antiques, clothing, toys, handicrafts, decorative items for the home ... there will be something in this 2014 edition, to be held Saturday, September 6 from officially from 14h until Sunday 7 to 23h.
Between two and three million people -brocanteurs, bargain hunters, curieux- are expected by 10,000 exhibitors who will offer their wares on about 100 kilometers of stalls.

Other events will include the Fair rides, a large funfair, on the Champ de Mars (to September 28) and the Lille Half Marathon which will involve more than 5,000 runners, who mark the start of the flea market. The double European champion in the 1,500,Mehdi Baala also announced that it will try to run the 10km walk back to raise money for medical research at the Institut Pasteur.
